Introduction

I started writing this in order to explain to my family and friends what I have learned about the financial systems of the world and the case for bitcoin. When I first started learning about bitcoin, it came to fascinate and then consume me, the more I saw the big picture, the more I had to find a way to explain to people what I saw. Many have said, “Once you see bitcoin, you cannot unsee bitcoin.” I have "seen” bitcoin, and I cannot “unsee” it. I first and foremost feel the need to share it with the world, to the point I cannot sleep. I am compelled to write. Currently, it is 5am and I have been up all night writing, and every time I try to put my computer away, more thoughts come and I am up again! It’s been like this since I discovered bitcoin. 

Bitcoin, is kind of hard to wrap your head around at first. There are all of these preconceived notions about not only bitcoin, but the monetary system we have. Many are false. This paper is to tell you the truths that I have learned and I hope it helps you to “see” bitcoin too and to share it with others. I still have questions, for which I am finding answers. As I answer them, a new section forms, so I will be adding sections as I learn more. I feel like the first 8 parts are in pretty good shape, I would like to add some citations and polish a few things up a bit, but I cannot wait. The world needs to know, so please forgive any typos, run on sentences, etc. In fact, if you find any, let me know so I can fix them for others. 

Parts 1-8 are an abbreviated history of our banking system and why it has always failed, a look at what Jesus and the Bible say about money, how I came to discover bitcoin and background that makes me even more bullish on bitcoin, the financial argument for bitcoin and finally a primer on how to buy and store it. It’s written in a progressive fashion, but I also tried to make the parts stand on their own. In order to fully grasp this whole plan, though, you should read it start to finish. Part VIII is how to buy and cold store bitcoin. So, once you are ready you can skip to that and start your own bitcoin journey. 

Some of the sections follow a question and answer format. These are all questions I have asked myself about the world we live in, questions that I could not understand the answers to, until I read The Creature from Jekyll Island and all the fragments of the puzzle snapped in to place with perfect clarity. It took me many many hours of study and research to get here, I hope that this can save you time in your journey, but I also hope it encourages you to really learn the source material so you can spread the word to others, and truly begin your own bitcoin journey.

Warning, this is a lot to process, and it is hard not to get depressed and disgusted and outraged when you read the first two parts. Many of you may go through phases of loss as you realize the world you think you know is not what you think it is. When you go through the denial phase, read the source material and push through to learn the truth. The TRUTH shall truly set you free. I promise you this story has a happy ending, and you are here to play a part in bringing that about; the sooner you claim your spot in history, the happier, more relaxed and more prepared you will be to help other people learn the truth.

In the future, I will work on dives into bitcoin wallets, as well as coding in the Bitcoin network as well as ideas for potential businesses in the new world. I hope you will continue learning with me. My mom has suggested I add more stories. When, I started this, I was kind of writing to my dad, and he doesn’t like to read, so I wanted to make a sort of “Cliff’s Notes” on what I have learned, but there is so much, and it has gotten pretty long, so I will work on adding stories as well. I want to thank a group of people for helping me organize this in my head; my family, and my friend, Andrea, who have listened to me for hours go on and on and on about bitcoin! They gave me objections and asked me questions that forced me to find the answers, they also helped me to organize the content in my brain in a progressive fashion so I could write this for you. I released this on Christmas 2023, as my gift to you, and because Washington crossed the Delaware on Christmas 1775. This is a war, albeit a digital war, like the war for our nations independence, this war is for world independence, especially here in the U.S. and bitcoin is our final battle.

I ask that you pray for discernment both before you read this and while you are reading. Anytime you start to think “That will never happen.” Pray. Much of this is hard to imagine given the system of fiat currency that we all grew up in, but you must suspend your disbelief, so that you may discern the truth. I also strongly encourage you to read the source material and watch the videos linked in the text, it will make the points more clear and the videos are entertaining ways to learn the content. It is said that it takes 100 hours for someone to "see" bitcoin. I am hoping that with this, you can do it in a lot less, but there is more than 100 hours of source material in here. If you are a deep diver, like I am, you will be in high cotton (and I did not even link it all).
